The Role
An opportunity has become available for two Human Resource Advisors to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Support the development, implementation and performance of human resource management initiatives, activities, strategies and actions
- Provide practical advice and guidance to internal clients on a broad range of contemporary human resource management issues
- Manage sensitive, high level information and knowledge in line with departmental and government policy
- Maintain an understanding of contemporary human resource management practices as well as understanding of relevant legislation, industrial agreements, policies and procedures
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in Human resource or related field would be well regarded
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent full time (Two positions)
- Base salary ranging from $105 568 - $114 861 per annum

The Human Rescource Business Partner (HRBP) team support Divisions and Directorates within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS). The HRBP team provide a link to the various HR functions available within the Directorate of Human Resource Services, GCHHS and assist in the development of a high performing, customer and solution focussed team culture through human resource consultation, advice and support. The HRBP team also provide assistance in creation and implementation of people management strategies to assist all managers and leaders
