The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Senior Director (Technology Operations) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Coordinate, manage and provide strategic leadership to a large team of technical staff and diverse services
- Lead the Technology Operations team to support delivery of core front line ICT technologies, applications and services
- Manage the planning, development, and implementation of digital, information and data services strategies
- Oversee information security with internal and external stakeholders
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- While not mandatory, a degree in a clinical digital specialty, information technology, or a related field would be highly desirable
- Driver licence
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Base salary ranging from $169261 per annum

The Digital Transformation and Research (DTR) division has been established to drive significant service improvements and digital transformation initiatives, aligned with the strategic objectives outlined in the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Services Strategic Plan 2028 (G28).
DTR is responsible for enhancing efficiency and service delivery optimising Health Service performance. Additionally, it oversees strategic partnerships that support the implementation of alternative models of service delivery, ensuring value for money, while driving improvements in performance and innovation across the organisation.
