The Role

An opportunity has become available for an Occupational Therapist/Psychologist/Social Worker/Speech Pathologist (Mental Health - Evolve Therapeutic Services) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

• Manage a highly complex caseload with clinical supervision and support based on the level of individual clinical experience
• Provide a comprehensive and flexible mental health service to children, adolescents and their family/carers
• Provide discipline specific intervention and assessment
• Work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• A tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work or Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
• AHPRA Registration (Occupational Therapist and Psychologist only)
• Eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (Social Worker only)
• Blue Card (GCH will cover cost)
• Driver Licence
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

• Base salary ranging from $4138.10 - $4431.10 per fortnight

Evolve Therapeutic Services Gold Coast is a multidiscipline, multi-speciality team within the Gold Coast Child and Youth Mental Health Service operating across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service to provide mental health intervention to children and young people (0-18 years) involved with Child Safety Services.
