The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Psychologist- Case Manager (Alcohol and Other Drugs Service) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Participate in the design, implementation and evaluation of evidence based group treatment programs for consumers
- Provide comprehensive psychology services including psychological assessment, formulation of treatment plans
- Contribute a psychological perspective to team meetings and clinical reviews
- Work cooperatively and effectively within the multidisciplinary team and liaise with consumers and their families
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- A tertiary degree in Psychology
- AHPRA Registration
- Driver Licence
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Base salary ranging from $79 051 - $116 189 per annum

Gold Coast Health Alcohol and Other Drug Service provides comprehensive psychological services within a collaborative multidisciplinary framework to consumers and their families/carers with alcohol and drug and dual diagnosis problems through the application of evidence based treatment that is informed by clinical supervision and education. The psychological services will include psychometric assessment, diagnostic formulation and treatment interventions including a range of community based Alcohol and Other Drug programs and Consultation Liaison service. Based in Southport
