The Nursing and Midwifery Staffing Unit is a centralised staff unit that provides nurses and midwives to all units in the Hospital and Health Service on a shift by shift basis e.g. to replace sick leave or on short term contracts.  It offers an opportunity to experience and develop in a broad range of clinical practice areas.  The unit is supported by an Educator and Clinical Facilitators.

If deemed suitable, your details will remain in the Nursing and Midwifery Staffing Unit Talent Pool for Registered Midwives and you may be contacted at the time an opportunity arises matching your skills and location preferences.

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• Bachelor's Degree in midwifery
• AHPRA Registration
• Available to work a 24-hour roster
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), and Hepatitis B
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
