Gladstone Hospital provides a range of services to Gladstone and the Banana region.
Our Destination 2030: Great Care for Central Queenlanders strategy will see Gladstone Hospital developed as a center for emergency care, medical inpatient, and day surgery excellence. This will optimise outreach services to deliver care closer to home in the Gladstone and Banana rural communities.
About the role:
The Operational Services Officer provides quality patient care by providing an efficient and effective porterage and patient assistance service within designated areas of the Gladstone Hospital facility.
About you:
The ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, to ensure good customer relationships and work well as part of an unsupervised team.
- Knowledge of the process of cross infection and a sound knowledge of infection control methods.
- Understanding of quality improvement processes and human resource management issues including workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination.

- A salary between $37.30 - $39.80 p.h. (Including 23% casual loading)
