About us:

Gladstone Hospital is a 79-bed hospital and offers a range of general and specialist inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, general medicine and surgery, basic orthopaedic, clinical investigation, obstetrics, maternity, gynaecology, high dependency and coronary care, palliative care, neonatal nursery, medical imaging, pathology, and paediatrics.

About the role:

The position provides an opportunity to work within a varied and complex caseload as an individual and in collaboration with other members of the multidisciplinary team, and when appropriate use a transdisciplinary service model, while contributing to safe, reliable, and sustainable services for CQ Health.

About you:

  • Possession of a tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and possession of the Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) credential is mandatory for this position.
  • Overseas qualified applicants require a “certification of eligibility” letter from the Dietetics Association of Australia to be included in their application in order to be considered for short-listing in the selection process.
  • While not mandatory, membership with Dietetics Association of Australia (DAA) would be well regarded.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $128,706 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $42.40 - $56.89 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading

It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases as listed on the Role Description.
