About us:

The allied health workforce is supported to achieve clinical excellence through a commitment to improving quality, creating continuous improvement opportunities, and a culture of learning and development. The Gladstone Allied Health team consists of six on site Health Practitioner professions: Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Psychology, and Social Work. The Gladstone Allied Health professions provide generalist services.

About the role:

The Dietitian Senior works as a member of the Gladstone Allied Health team providing comprehensive, effective and efficient Dietetic services to stakeholders/customers of CQ Health. Services provided are of a varied caseload complexity, spanning the continuum of care that includes service provision to patients/clients within inpatient, outpatient and community clinical settings.

About you:

  • Possession of a tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and possession of the Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) credential is mandatory for this position.
  • While not mandatory, membership with Dietetics Association of Australia (DAA) would be well regarded.
  • Working with Children Clearance: Potential applicants are advised that the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening Act 2000) requires Queensland Health to seek a “working with children check' from Queensland Blue Card Services. Queensland Health will facilitate the applicants obtaining the above check if required.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
