About us:

The Gladstone Allied Health team consists of six on site Health Practitioner professions: Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Psychology, and Social Work.

The Gladstone Allied Health professions provide generalist services. The Physiotherapist Senior operationally reports to the Allied Health Network Manager Physiotherapy involves a holistic approach to the prevention, assessment and therapeutic management disorders of movement or optimisation of function to enhance the health and welfare of the community.

About the role:

The Physiotherapist Senior works as a member of the Gladstone Allied Health team providing comprehensive, effective and efficient Physiotherapy services to stakeholders/customers of Central Queensland Health (CQ Health). Services provided are of a varied caseload complexity, spanning the continuum of care that includes service provision to patients/clients within inpatient, outpatient and community clinical settings. The position provides an opportunity to work within a varied and complex caseload, and when appropriate use a transdisciplinary service model, while contributing to safe, reliable and sustainable services for CQ Health.

About you:

  • Appointment to this position requires mandatory possession of Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution and registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). 
  • Whilst not mandatory, post graduate qualifications in a relevant practice area is highly desirable.  

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
