About us:
Central Queensland Oral Health Services strives to provide evidence based dental treatment and promotion to our eligible clientele and to maintain a fair and equitable wait list for the members of our community whilst maintaining a supportive work environment for staff.
Oral Health Service comprises of eleven adult clinics based within the geographical boundaries of the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Services, including: Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Emerald, Springsure, Blackwater, Moura, Biloela, Mount Morgan, Woorabinda and Capricornia Correctional Centre.
About the role:
Provide a high standard of oral health care to all eligible clients of the Oral Health Service through the delivery of Oral Health Therapy within individual scope, services and to promote oral health at an individual and community level within Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS).
About you:
Possession of a Bachelor of Oral Health (or equivalent) and registration within the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Oral Health Therapist.
- Radiation Use Licence issued under the Radiation Safety Act 1999, with an appropriate authority.
- Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy students in their final year of study are also encouraged to apply.
- New graduates will have the opportunity to apply for entry into the Early Career Dental Practitioner Program (ECDPP), this program will provide opportunities in consolidating clinical skills, rotations in specialist clinics, mentoring, peer networking, regular case discussions, communication and wellbeing workshops, and career planning for the public sector.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $80,238 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $43.68 - $58.59 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
