An exciting opportunity is currently available for experienced Mental Health Clinicians to join the Acute Care Team at the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Eligible Applicants who move to Queensland from an interstate or international jurisdiction to take up permanent or temporary greater than 12 months employment may receive up to $20,000 incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Scheme

Your opportunity:

• Deliver clinical services within an integrated mental health service environment with a multidisciplinary team focus. The provisions of these services are to consumers and carers experiencing and affected by serious mental health disorders and other serious mental health problems across both the community and inpatient settings.
• Participation in all aspects of the Model of Service Delivery including an extended hours Acute Care Team (ACT) Emergency Department and MH CALL service.

Permanent Full Time (76 hours p.f.) and Permanent Part Time Positions (hours negotiable) and Casual Positions available.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $131,941 p.a., comprising salary between $107,960 - $115,604 p.a. (f/t), or salary between $54.45 - $58.30 p.h. (p/t) or salary between $66.97 - $71.71 p.h. (casual) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)), or remuneration package value up to $128,706 p.a., comprising salary between $76,747 - $112,805 p.a. (f/t), or salary between $38.71 - $56.89 p.h. (p/t) or salary between $47.61 - $69.98 p.h. (casual), (HP3), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f., and Permanent Part Time Positions, hours negotiable and Casual Positions available).
