We are now seeking an Aboriginal Senior Health Worker Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Bundaberg. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and experience in health service delivery, looking to take on a leadership role in a supportive and impactful environment. Your opportunity:
- Lead and manage the delivery of an efficient and specialised Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander service as a member of the Indigenous Health Service team to clients of the Bundaberg Hospital.
- To enhance the health and well being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the Bundaberg Hospital through the provision of high quality, culturally appropriate services focused on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children's health.
- To support and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary teams across Family and Community Stream to ensure health services provided for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients are culturally appropriate and safe.
- The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker is also responsible for maintaining links and working collaboratively with other Indigenous Health Workers and other Service providers to strengthen the interface between Hospital and Community services to ensure a continuum of care for patients.
Under 25s of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $132,567 p.a., comprising salary between $ 101,600 - $116,189 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HWF4) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
