Your opportunity:

  • To participate in the provision, development and maintenance of an effective, efficient and equitable clinical service to the hospital patients in consultation with consultants, visiting specialists, nurses and allied health professionals.
  • To contribute to the continual upgrading of medical education, and dissemination of knowledge to staff and patients.
  • The appointment will be to the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service for the provision of services to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Bundaberg Hospital.
  • A Principal House Officer is a medical practitioner in the third or subsequent year of practical experience after eligibility for full registration as a medical practitioner.
  • The Bundaberg Hospital is a teaching hospital of the University of Queensland Rural Clinical School. Student placements occur throughout the year and medical staff is expected to work with the Clinical School in the education program.

Several Temporary Full Time Positions (76 hours p.f.) from 03 February 2025, for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $175,370 p.a., comprising salary between $129,583- $150,240 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) and vocational training subsidy (L4-L9) (Temporary Full time, 76 hours p.f., from 03 February 2025, for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
