Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.

Your Opportunity:

The Dakabin Youth Hub, based at Dakabin State High School and operated by Children's Health Queensland is a space for children, young people and families to access wraparound support for material basics, social and emotional wellbeing and health support, and to enhance learning and student engagement. The hub endeavours to provide a safe space for young people to access a range of services in partnership with the school. Through engaging with the hub, young people will be proactively supported to navigate the varied and complex life challenges.

The position of Youth Hub Manager- Dakabin will: 

• Lead the development of services and activities to enhance the health and wellbeing of children, youth and their families within the Dakabin State High School community.
• Coordinate and implement a soft-entry, early intervention and prevention youth hub.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Lead and promote the Mission, Vision and Values of the Dakabin Youth Hub.
• Support navigation through clinical and other services for children, youth and families accessing the Hub.
