An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Technology Program Manager to join the ICT Information Management Team at the Bundaberg, Hervey Bay or Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

 Your opportunity:

  • The role of the Technology Program Manager, will proactively lead, manage and facilitate the successful implementation of end-to-end integrated digital solutions necessary to achieve successful operational commissioning of the New Bundaberg Hospital, other associated capital projects across the WBHHS, integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) Program Collaboration and Business-as-Usual (BAU) projects in accordance with Hospital and Health Services (HHSs) and Queensland Health digital hospital requirements.
  • This position works closely with the Manager Information Management, Manager ICT and Manager Performance Analytics to supply cohesiveness between Business-as-Usual teams and Digital projects.
  • This position participates in a community of practice within Information Services Performance Analytics (ISPA), contributing to the development and ongoing improvement of the overall ISPA functions for WBHHS.
  • As the Technology Program Manager, you will employ your excellent communication and management skills to engage and coordinate access to all Queensland Health digital stakeholder groups, while coordinating the overarching integrated plan and program for the delivery and commissioning of all digital works.
  • This position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer and the Executive Director – New Bundaberg Hospital Project.

Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for 12 months with the possibility of an extension

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $182,185 p.a., comprising salary between $150,906 - $159,677 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO8) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for 12 months with the possibility of an extension) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
