An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Intensivist to join the Intensive Care Team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:
- The Staff Specialist/Senior Medical Officer (Intensive Care) provides specialist intensive care medical services in the Intensive Care Unit, Bundaberg Hospital.
- Assist the Clinical Director (Intensive Care) and Executive Director Bundaberg and Rural Facilities to ensure clinical services provided are of the highest standard and delivered in an efficient and effective manner.
- Assist with the education and supervision of trainees and other medical staff, medical students, allied health and nursing staff.
Temporary Full Time (80 hours p.f.) from 4th August 2025 until 31st January 2026 with the possibility of extension.
