An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Occupational Therapist - Senior to join the Cancer Care Support Team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:

• This position applies high level Occupational Therapy knowledge, clinical skills and clinical expertise, leadership, consultation, and professional supervision in the provision of cancer care services in the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
• The position requires a significant level of independence and personal accountability, including independent professional judgement in problem solving and clinical management, handling of a complex caseload beyond that of routine day to day clinical practice, without the need for direct regular clinical practice supervision.
• The position contributes to service development, education and research in the work unit.

Temporary Part Time (45.6 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $94,416 p.a., comprising salary rates between $64.64 - $69.56 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Temporary Part Time, 45.6 hours p.f., from date of appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension.)
