Exciting opportunities are currently available for experienced Nurse Managers (After Hours Facility Coordinators) to join the Nursing Services Team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity: 

• The Nurse Manager (After Hours Facility Coordinator) (NM - AHFC) is a service manager, accountable at an advanced practice level for the provision of human resources to meet patient requirements across the facility. The NM-AHFC provides professional and operational leadership and direction to staff. They are responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective services which are consistent with contemporary standards and best practice within the Facility. The NM-AHFC utilises data and information to ensure that the service is organised for safety and efficiency, and measures are in place to capture the standard of service delivery.
