An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Associate Nurse Educator (Simulation) to join the Clinical Simulation Team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:
- To assist Simulation Educators, Nurse Educators, multi-disciplinary teams and external parties to develop, deliver, and evaluate simulation-based education events offered within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
- Support the facilitation and provision of quality and cost-effective nursing services through developing workforce knowledge, capability and skills that are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice.
- Identify learning needs and development opportunities in collaboration with and support from Nurse Educators (NE) from which education programs / activities are designed, implemented and assessed to ensure they meet staff and workforce development needs.
- Support the Nurse Educators with continued assessment, monitoring and development of all staff to ensure standards of care meet the quality and expectations of the health service and consumers.
Temporary Part Time (22.8 hours p.f.) from 21st July 2025 for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $42,408 p.a., comprising salary rates $61.20 - $62.49 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (2)) (Temporary Part Time, 22.8 hours p.f., from 21st July 2025 for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy).
