An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker or Psychologist - Senior (Mental Health Clinician) to join the Child and Youth Mental Health, Wide Bay Mental Health & Specialised Services Team at the Bundaberg or Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:
- Deliver high level professional clinical mental health services as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to optimise psycho-social outcomes for children and young people with severe and complex mental health problems and disorders, and their families and carers.
- Provide intensive, developmentally appropriate, community-centred, mental health interventions and ongoing assessment for adolescents who require higher intensity (level and mode of contact and range of interventions/services, including risk assessment, crisis management, and safety planning) treatment, rehabilitation, and support to recover from mental illness.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $164,212 p.a., comprising salary between $132,562 - $143,924 p.a. (Nurse Grade 7) or remuneration package value up to $157,360 p.a., comprising salary between $128,169 - $137,918 p.a. (HP4), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7/HP4) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
