Your opportunity:
- The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) or Team Leader is a clinical manager, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of patient-centred clinical practice and the provision of human and material resources within the Child and Youth Mental Health Service. The NUM/Team Leader provides professional and operational leadership and direction to nursing staff, as well as operational leadership to administration, allied health, and operational staff, and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost-effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and best practice within the Child and Youth Mental Health Service.
- Deliver advanced level clinical services and clinical service leadership to ensure clinical responsiveness to emergent mental health presentations via the Department of Emergency Services across an extended hours roster.
- Actively lead the identification, development and implementation of quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of services to the local service area.
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for 6 months with the possibility of extension

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive salary between $5,081.10 - $5,516.60 p.f. (Nurse Grade 7), or salary between $5,557.50 - $5,798.90 p.f. (HP5), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for 6 months with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy).
