Join our team to lead enforcement and compliance activities under the Tobacco and Other Smoking Products Act. You’ll play a key role in promoting public health by ensuring adherence to smoking regulations across the community. This position offers the opportunity to make a real impact in the Wide Bay region, working in a supportive environment at either Bundaberg or Hervey Bay Hospitals. Your opportunity: 

Undertake more complex environmental health services as part of the broader health protection program to protect, promote and prevent risks to the community arising from environmental health hazards that impact on the natural and built environment and human health. In particular, this temporary role's primary functions will relate to compliance operations under the Tobacco and Other Smoking Products Act 1998, and supporting the Director of Environmental Health in the planning, execution and reporting of compliance activities under this Act.

 Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment until 27th June 2027

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $157,360 p.a., comprising salary between $128,169 - $137,918 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment until 27th June 2027) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
