An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant (Medical Team) to join the Department of Medicine Team at the Hervey Bay Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:
- This ConeX Clinical Nurse Consultant will provide coordination and guidance, supporting operational and strategic goals, assisting the General Medicine Physician team with clinical operations in obtaining key performance benchmarks, maintaining clinical standards, and optimising patient and service outcomes.
- The ConeX Clinical Nurse Consultant is to review, analyse, and interpret General Medicine patient data and processes from a variety of sources to inform and balance quality care delivery with development and improvements in patient care at pivotal interface points to support an agile and innovative service.
- The Clinical Nurse Consultant for ConeX must possess a complement of advanced clinical and leadership expertise from Emergency/Critical Care, Acute Medicine, and Care in the Right Setting to effectively meet the demands of this advanced practice role with one of the dedicated clinical portfolios

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $164,212 p.a., comprising salary between $132,562 - $143,924 p.a, employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
