Your Opportunity:  

The position of Orthopaedic Technologist will work collaboratively with the Lead Orthopaedic Technologist to deliver an effective and efficient Orthopaedic Outpatient and Trauma casting service within the Orthopaedic Hub and within CHQ as required.

• Support and assist the Orthopaedic Technicians within the Orthopaedic Department in the provision of clinical support services for children within the Queensland Children's Hospital and collaborate as required with the advanced allied health assistant in Physiotherapy.
• Assist the Lead Orthopaedic Technologist in the planning and delivery of casting services within the Orthopaedic Department of the Queensland Children's Hospital and collaborate with the Director of Physiotherapy for operational matters.
• Act in a Higher Duties role as required by the Lead Orthopaedic Technologist.
