Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.

Your Opportunity: 

The position of Senior Speech Pathologist, will deliver clinical and population-based speech pathology services in the Deadly Ears program aimed at:

• Improving early detection and access to early intervention to improve communication outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children with conductive hearing loss (CHL) in rural and remote communities.
• Supporting workforce development initiatives to build the capacity of student and professional workforces, services, and sector partners to recognise and manage the impacts of otitis media and CHL on communication development.

The scope of this position includes targeted clinical service delivery in rural and remote communities, cross sector collaboration, education/ teaching and training, health promotion, service improvement initiatives and research.
