Graphic Designer
South Brisbane
Provide a professional and highly creative design service to deliver engaging design, brand and user-experiences for employees and consumers. This dynamic role involves the creation of outstanding user experiences through best-practice visual communication techniques and storytelling. You will create and deliver high-quality designs for patients and carers, and CHQ employees for content, collateral, and artefacts across digital and print platforms. You will demonstrate strong graphic design expertise and enthusiasm for collaboration to achieve great outcomes for the division, ensuring the CHQ brand is consistently and creatively applied via visual storytelling. Your advice about the development and execution of creative visual designs will be integral to ensuring consistent, user-focussed visual communication at CHQ.

About the Communications, Culture and Engagement team
The Communications, Culture and Engagement division brings together internal and external experience and engagement functions to deliver a high-quality, integrated and consistent stakeholder experience at CHQ. The division is divided into five areas: arts in health; communications and media; digital engagement and co-design, organisational culture and leadership development; and stakeholder engagement and partnerships.
Role Details
- Create design concepts, solutions and assets for a range of digital and print media, including websites, social media, infographics, eBooks, publications, brochures, strategy documents and reports.
- Assist in the creative implementation, evolution and maintenance of the Children's Health Queensland branding guidelines and associated templates.
- Work collaboratively on projects to execute and complete designs from a brief and initial concept through to final production.
- Maintain the highest level of quality in visual storytelling and ensure attention to detail in design execution with minimal supervision.
- Follow project schedules and timeframes and actively manage workloads to deliver new designs and artwork which help support overarching health promotion and marketing campaigns.
- Maintain a strong awareness of current and emerging trends within digital and visual communications design to deliver creative solutions that focus on a positive, informative and engaging brand experience for a range of different audiences and stakeholders.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of CHQ and Queensland Government branding guidelines and resources to ensure digital and printed materials meet necessary requirements that enhance and preserve a strong brand image.
