The position of Medical Records Scanning Officer will provide administration, and systems support in relation to patient medical records and to facilitate hospital wide service delivery within Children’s Health Queensland. Contribute to patient flow by ensuring the presence of required medical records (paper and electronic) and information internally and externally as required.

About the Role
- Work effectively and efficiently as a team member in a changing, high pressured environment with minimal supervision.
- Prioritise, receipt and track patient medical records for all clinical and business units across the hospital campus (including paper and electronic medical records).
- Undertake activities relating to the preparation, scanning, quality control, validation and audit of electronic medical records.
- Prioritise workload effectively and perform duties responsibly in the absence of supervision.
- Plan, prioritise and manage own time to produce results within designated timeframes.
- The confidential preparation and transportation of patient medical records to clinical and non-clinical areas upon request.
- Monitor and track incoming and outgoing patient medical records and prioritising medical record flow.
