The position of e-PMIH Telehealth Coordinator will coordinate the delivery of statewide telehealth services (e-PIMH) in the areas of perinatal mental health and infant mental health (PIMH), including telepsychiatry services and workforce development and capacity building initiatives. This will contribute to the development of a continuum of care to meet the mental health needs of infants, expectant and new parents, and their families in Queensland.

About the Team
The Integrated Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) provides complex secondary and tertiary level health care. CYMHS offers specialised mental health services for families with infants, children and young people (birth to 18 years) who experience severe and complex mental health problems, and where their needs cannot be met by other services. CYMHS provides a comprehensive, recovery-orientated mental healthcare service that aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people and their carer networks. Recovery principles are embedded into service delivery, culture and practice, providing consumers and their families, in collaboration with other services, access and referral to a range of programs that will support and sustain recovery. CYMHS combines hospital and community-based facilities to provide free consultation, assessment and treatment of children and young people experiencing serious mental health disorders and problems with their carer network.
About the Role
In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:
- Coordinate, in conjunction with the QCPIMH Medical Director, Program Manager, Service Development Leaders, and relevant others, a perinatal and infant mental health telehealth service that aligns with the Workforce Development, Rural and Remote, and Communication Frameworks developed by QCPIMH, and is consistent with the principles and implementation of the developing model of perinatal and infant mental health service delivery and the strategic directions of QCPIMH. The telehealth service will include telepsychiatry services and workforce development and capacity building initiatives.
