About the Role
- Provide professional leadership in the promotion and maintenance of ethical standards and evidenced based best practice of speech pathology services in the specialist area of mental health consistent with the ethical and practice standards of Speech Pathology Australia, the National Mental Health Practice Standards, Queensland CYMHS Speech Pathology Scope of Practice and Recovery Frameworks.
- Provide specialist, independent speech pathology services incorporating novel approaches to assessment, treatment and case management (as required) to children and young people with severe and complex mental health problems (beyond routine presentation) and their families.
