About the Team
The Materials Distribution team at Children's Health Queensland (CHQ) is a small, highly efficient unit responsible for managing key logistical operations across the organisation. The team oversees the movement of goods from the loading dock to wards and other hospital locations, ensuring the smooth and timely receipt and dispatch of materials. In addition to managing internal mail services, they play a vital role in clinical consumable ordering for at Children's Health Queensland (CHQ), coordinating the supply of essential items to support continuity of care and maintain operational readiness.
About the Role
In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:
- Prepare reports by developing report specifications, and access report data, interpret and act on relevant information.
- Assist with stores related records: Identify record management databases, storage types and technologies, use record management systems to retrieve information, store and maintain relevant records.
- Undertake computing tasks including scanning of assigned imprest locations; reporting; stores management and catalogue activity
