As the Consultant in Paediatric Gastroenterology and Mucosal Immunology you will provide high-level specialist paediatric gastroenterology services with a focus on paediatric neurogastroenterology and motility as well as disorders of gut-brain interaction, within a tertiary setting to ensure the provision of high quality, safe and family centred care within the CHQ HHS.

About the Role
You will fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with the CHQ HHS core values and as outlined below.
- Undertake clinical responsibilities including on call (approximately 1 in 8), providing patient care, liaison with other units and referring hospitals, and maintaining appropriate records and confidentiality, including obtaining and documenting consent.
- Actively participate in the delivery of contemporary, evidence-based, multidisciplinary models of care, inclusive of inpatient, outpatient (neurogastroenterology and motility as well as gastroenterology), outreach and tele-health.
- Actively promote and model family-centred-care principles and practices in the delivery of services. Involve consumers in design and evaluation of services.
