About the Team

As part of the Allied Health Service, the QCH Physiotherapy Department is a tertiary paediatric service providing high level care, based on evidence-based practice and international standards of care. Advanced clinicians are available in all physiotherapy teams, whilst supervision and governance are underpinned by the National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards. Subspecialty teams provide patient-centred management, tailored to the child and family's unique needs that can be delivered in outpatient, day patient, inpatient, outreach and telehealth settings.

About the Role

In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:

Clinical Practice

  • Deliver high level paediatric physiotherapy clinical services of a complex and varied nature within a variety of settings across CHQ HHS in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, with minimal direct clinical supervision. Physiotherapy services may be provided in home/ community settings, local accommodation, day hospital, inpatient wards, or outpatient clinics.
