About the role

We are seeking a dynamic & experienced leader to lead a high-performing team. As Director, Infrastructure Project Reporting, you'll be responsible for all reporting activity within the Program Performance Unit & play a strategic role in driving project performance & accountability. You'll work closely with the Senior Director & collaborate with senior executives, project teams & key stakeholders across HIQ, championing best practice reporting & lifting financial performance.

Key accountabilities

  • Lead the provision of timely, fit-for-purpose reporting to support project teams.
  • Develop & embed robust processes to ensure data quality & reporting integrity.
  • Provide expert guidance for projects that require deeper analysis or review.
  • Coaching & developing a high-performing team of reporting professionals.
  • Develop reporting tools to enhance outputs & ensure project budgets are maintained.
  • Collaborate across the division to ensure consistent, high-quality reporting outcomes.
  • Deliver actionable insights to support strategic decision making of leadership.
  • Develop & implement data strategy & management plans, to manage the divisions data effectively, aligning it to make informed project decisions.

About you

You're an experienced leader with a passion for performance & delivery. You bring deep expertise in management reporting, ideally within a large & complex organisation. You have the ability to lead teams, work collaboratively across diverse stakeholders & turn data into strategic direction.

  • Strong leadership & team management skills, with the ability to motivate people at all levels.
  • Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills, to effectively engage, influence & negotiate with stakeholders.
  • A track record of using strategic & analytical thinking to drive results.
  • Deep understanding of project performance reporting & how it supports major infrastructure delivery.
  • A collaborative mindset & the ability to foster partnerships across departments, to provide effective reporting outcomes.
  • Confidence working with technical & non-technical audiences alike.
