As the Senior Statistical Output Officer, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality statistical information service for clients of the Statistical Services Branch (SSB) and liaise with all units within SSB to ensure a consistent and high level of service is afforded to all clients.
What you'll do
You will deliver timely statistical and related information to users both internal and external to Queensland Health by the management, development, and ongoing provision of a suite of information services and technologies. You will provide consultancy services and expert advice to clients of SSB based on extraction, analysis and interpretation of health and health-related data and assist them when utilising our services. You will also negotiate and liaise with suppliers, users, government authorities and professional bodies regarding statistical requirements, data collections and the availability of data to and from Queensland Health.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Ability to interrogate complex datasets and relational databases to provide information solutions (including analysis and reporting) that meet clients' needs.
- Experience in the provision of a contemporary statistical information service and technology environment in a large organisation.
- Ability to independently meet deadlines, prioritise and delegate tasks effectively.
- Competence in interpersonal skills, consultation and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
