The Manager, System Analysis and Performance Support, System Performance Branch is responsible for providing leadership and management to the System Analysis and Performance Support Team.

What you'll do

Establish and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships between the Branch and the broader Health System and contribute positively and promote collaboration to achieve organisational objectives. You will manage multiple priorities and build the capability and capacity of the team to ensure the delivery of timely, high-quality outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, you will develop and drive analyses to enhance system performance and service commissioning, and operational efficiency that align to Queensland Health Strategies, priority areas and emerging situations. You'll oversee operational management of public reporting initiatives and performance reporting, including the development and maintenance of public performance information and drive strategies which increase the transparency of Health System Performance information for consumers.

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

  • High-level strategic, conceptual, leadership and analytical skills relevant to a range of social and health priority areas.
  • Understanding of Queensland Health strategies, processes and data environments as applied to enhancing healthcare services, efficiency and system outcomes.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead a team, set direction, motivate and inspire staff, promoting an environment where staff are valued, developed and coached to perform at their full potential.
  • Experience promoting collaboration, establishing governance and risk management approaches as relevant to high-profile, public and strategic programs or projects.
  • Excellent organisational and team management skills with an ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Experience and skills managing projects, understanding system trends, and critically analysing information to autonomously compile complex policy-related reports, discussion papers, submissions, ministerial correspondence and other advice.
