Senior Public Health Researcher

Health and Wellbeing Queensland is seeking a skilled Senior Public Health Researcher to support the Pick of the Crop Plus One Serve (POTC+1) research project, a state-wide initiative aimed at increasing vegetable consumption among primary school students.
In this role, you'll lead research activities, develop protocols, secure ethics approvals, and manage data collection and analysis.
Collaborating with academic partners, schools, and stakeholders, you'll oversee project implementation, ensure compliance, and deliver high-quality reporting and publications.

Your opportunity
As the Senior Public Health Researcher you will be involved in:
- Coordinating and supporting all aspects of the development, implementation, and evaluation of the POTC+1 project, ensuring activities align with approved research protocols, timelines and ethics and research governance requirements.
- Establishing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with academic partners, schools, health professionals and other internal and external stakeholders to support the successful implementation of the research project and dissemination of findings.
- Developing and implementing robust research protocols, oversee compliance, and proactively manage any issues or deviations related to research governance.
