Health and Wellbeing Queensland is seeking a motivated Senior Health Promotion Officer - Physical Activity to contribute to state-wide health promotion initiatives addressing modifiable risk factors, including physical activity.
In this role, you'll coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives using co-design principles and systems approaches to drive sustainable behaviour change. Collaborating with government and non-government stakeholders, you'll plan projects, prepare high-quality reports, and support continuous improvement activities.

Your opportunity
As the Senior Health Promotion Officer - Physical Activity you will be involved in:
•Coordinating and supporting the development, planning and implementation of health promotion initiatives, with a focus on addressing modifiable risk factors such as physical activity.
• Understanding and applying principles of co-design at a community level, while adopting a systems approach to drive sustainable behaviour change.
• Applying project management skills to manage and support the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of health promotion initiatives.

Specific role requirements:
- The successful applicant must hold a relevant degree or higher qualification in Health Promotion, Public Health or Exercise Physiology/Science.
