About the role
- Provide a comprehensive range of administrative support to the Kallangur Satellite Health Centre.
- Maintain a high-quality administrative service which supports the commitments to the principles of patient focused care and quality management.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Rotate through various allocated administration positions within the Kallangur Satellite Health Centre, working across a roster with different shift times to provide a wide range of administrative support functions during the opening hours of the facility.
- Ability to work with the Facility Management team to successfully facilitate, promote and adapt to change to ensure continuous improvement in processes providing quality care to patients.
- Provide professional and high-level administrative and frontline support to all patients, visitors and employees of Kallangur Satellite Hospital, demonstrating understanding, empathy and patience, while ensuring confidentiality, tact, diplomacy and discretion whilst being accountable for the quality of work undertaken.
- As the first point of service either on the phone or face to face, liaise with patients and their representatives, clinical practitioners, and any person to whom or from whom service is provided or received, providing accurate, professional, courteous advice and support to all enquiries and queries following through to completion, while remaining calm and empathetic ensuring that patient care and safety is the priority and focus.
- Confidently communicate with all levels of staff and clients, understanding and anticipating needs, including undertaking investigations to find and implement solutions to meet those needs whilst demonstrating a positive service focus.
