In this role you will:
- Coordinate the role description review project including contributing to establishing the project scope, approach, deliverables, and timeframes.
- Support the Manager to engage with leaders to reach agreement about the new approach to role description content and design.
- Contribute to the design of the new template for LAQ role descriptions and transition the existing role descriptions to the new template, including applying the Queensland Government's Leadership Competencies for Queensland to all LAQ role descriptions.
- Liaise with position occupants and managers to determine if the responsibilities of a role require amendment and provide advice regarding job design and job evaluation.
- Develop common language to be used across role descriptions to ensure consistency across classifications for comparable roles.
- Prepare role descriptions and associated documents such as briefing notes to progress requests for new positions and undertake job evaluations (JEMS) where necessary.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to detail and document the ongoing approach to maintenance of role descriptions and provide instructions to team members about the process to change role descriptions.
