About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to role manage the operational delivery of clinical services for a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals providing case management, assessment and treatment to older consumers with a mental illness within both community and inpatient settings.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Lead service improvement, service evaluation, research and change initiatives to promote continuous quality improvements and the achievement of best practice standards and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Proactively plan labour and non-labour expenditure and manage the financial resources of the team for efficient and effective delivery of the health service within a defined budget.
  • Build and maintain a supportive and innovative team culture through effective self, peer and team evaluation, timely giving and receiving of feedback and positive problem solving.
  • Provide a range of assessment, intervention and treatment services which meet the health needs of older consumers and carers with mental health issues and aged-related co-morbidities.
