About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to combine advanced clinical knowledge and understanding of Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs service provision with the utilisation of data, information, and analytics to support in the development, implementation and evaluation of a range of diverse projects and strategies designed to drive clinical and service improvement.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Apply specialist clinical expertise and skills to support activities which will drive the reform of mental health clinical practice and service delivery systems.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships at all service levels to gain support, understanding, endorsement and engagement in planned activities and use well-developed clinical background to ensure the provision of improved outcomes for service users and drive the delivery of high quality, safe and efficient mental health services.
- Provide advice to senior management, across multiple sites, on service quality and improvement activities to shape service delivery and contribute to the development of professional competence amongst the workforce.
- Relevant to the position, participate in the ongoing education, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of safety and quality initiatives relevant to The National Safety and Quality Health Services Standards.
