About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to deliver high quality evidence based clinical services for adolescents and young adults and their carer networks, who are presenting to headspace sites within the HHS catchment, who require more complex mental health support and who would benefit from input from a specialist MHAOD multidisciplinary team.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Ensure consumers, carers and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic, and linguistic backgrounds.
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with headspace staff and other internal stakeholders across MNMH (for example Child Youth Mental Health Services, Acute Care Teams, and Adult Mental Health Teams) that supports care that is integrated, timely and seamless.
- Utilise effective communication skills to work cooperatively and effectively with adolescents and young adults and their support networks, headspace staff, General Practitioners, government, and non-government support agencies, the HCIT multidisciplinary team, and wider public mental health service.
