About the role

• Provide leadership in professional education, practice supervision and mentoring of less experienced staff and students within the Psychology Department.
• Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives within the Psychology Department at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• To provide high level, evidence-based and best practice clinical psychology services, in both individual and group format, to patients with Tinnitus.
• To provide clinical psychological assessments and diagnosis of patients awaiting surgery for cochlear ear implant.
• Apply highly developed and specialised clinical knowledge and skills in audiology, in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards and the application of evidence-based practice, with infrequent clinical practice supervision.
• Work cooperatively and effectively with patients, their families and caregivers, as a member of a multidisciplinary a team.
