As the Business and Project Coordinator you will provide effective and timely coordination of business support functions enabling continuity and success as well as quality assurance in the form of valuable and ethical compliance and governance, assisting management's decision-making processes. Further the position is to assist, contribute, support and provide effective client -focused financial, human resources, project support and administrative services for the clients of the Tribunal.
What you'll do
You will:
- Utilise information technology and financial systems to investigate and analyse financial data implementing the necessary compliance and governance measures that will ensure ongoing general ledger integrity.
- Coordinate with the Principal Business Coordinator with monthly and quarterly reporting processes, collating reports, analyzing financial transactions and reviewing general ledger accounts.
- Assist in developing project management reports and other project resources
- Support risk and issue identification and mitigation by ensuring risks and issues are documented and escalated appropriately.
- Provide generalist project support, including basic IT troubleshooting.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders of all levels, whilst maintaining integrity, confidentiality and tact.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of administrative and business support when dealing with sensitive issues and stakeholders in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of business service and administrative processes, information systems and reporting requirements relevant to the Tribunal and/or government entities.
- Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and work cooperatively, effectively and collaboratively within a team environment; with the capacity to work autonomously and utilise discretion in the absence of decision makers, meet deadlines and establish work priorities to maximise efficiency, work output and the changing needs of the Tribunal.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse issues, establish a course of action and adopt a pro-active attitude with minimum direction, whilst delivering a work of a high quality, validity and accuracy to achieve Tribunal outcomes.
