Temporary full-time role available, 76 hours p.f. - 03/02/2025 Until 01/02/2026
Working with us
- Up to $70,000 in incentive payments may be available under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme.
- Base salary ranges between $129,583 and $150,240 p.a. (L4-L9).
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
- Long Service Leave and Sick Leave accrual.
- Tax savings through salary sacrificing options are also available.
In your downtime, we offer 4 weeks p.a. recreational leave with a 17.5% loading/bonus.

About the role
Provide high quality clinical care to patients of the Mount Isa Hospital. Be part of a team that actively contributes to patient safety by following policies, procedures and protocols of the North West Hospital and Health Service.
Requirements
- Hold current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
- To be "on-call" or participate in shift rosters is a requirement of the position.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
