About the role
The Strategy, Planning, Improvement, Risk and Reporting Team is responsible for strategy and planning for health services, infrastructure and workforce across the Hospital and Health Service (HHS). We support the Board, Executives, and staff in all areas of operational improvement, risk and reporting.
The Nurse Manager is responsible for providing advanced-level leadership and coordination to ensure best practice standards in clinical care and patient-centred service delivery. This role oversees the effective and efficient management of human, material, and financial resources within the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
- A post graduate qualification or currently enrolled in a post graduate program in a relevant area of study is highly desirable.
- Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
- The position may involve travel to various facilities or units within the North West Hospital and Health Service.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
