Proserpine Hospital is a busy Level 3 facility with approximately 20 000 ED presentations per year and 270 births. Rural Generalists working in the Whitsunday Health Service develop a broad scope of practice in a collaborative, dynamic environment and have the opportunity to use their skills extensively.  The Community Health Campus offers a range of Community Health services provided by a multi-disciplinary team. The Whitsunday Heath Service covers the Whitsunday Regional Council area, Midge Point and Bloomsbury.

The Whitsunday Health Service is made up of two facilities: The Community Health Campus - Cannonvale and the Hospital Campus - Proserpine.  The hospital is a 35-bed acute hospital, which offers a number of specialty inpatient and outpatient services, including obstetrics, endoscopy and visiting specialist clinics and theatre lists.

Salary Information based on 56 hrs p.f.

Total remuneration value of up to $339,954 (L27) is comprised of:

  • A salary between $170,941 - $181,237 (L25-L27)

Total remuneration value of up to $295,291 (L23) is comprised of:

  • A salary between $142,944 - $162,094 (L18-L23)
