About the role
Provide strategic oversight of the HV and LV electrical systems, support patient care by recommending and implementing management in use strategies and provide technical input and support to capital works projects and major redevelopment activities. This role will manage the HV maintenance contract for the site.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Support the BEMS manager and other key BEMS staff with high level technical advice and input into capital works planning reports, designs and documentation.
- Ensure that regular documented inspections and audits of HV and LV systems to identify potential issues, ensure compliance with safety standards, and implement proactive maintenance measures to enhance system reliability and longevity.
- Ensure all reports, O&M manuals' and drawings of the HV and LV electrical systems are kept up to date and available.
