HP4 Falls Co-Response Candidate Information Session

This session will be hosted by the Metro North and Metro South Hospital and Health Service Program Manager and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Program Coordinator. It will provide a consistent overview of the Falls Co-Response Program, the HP4 role, key responsibilities, and scope of practice. We'll also cover frequently asked questions and give candidates the opportunity to ask their own. Attendance is strongly encouraged for anyone considering applying.
Please note: the HP4 Metro South HHS and Metro North HHS QAS Allied Health Falls Co-response roles are being con-currently advertised. There is no requirement to apply to both role descriptions for this position. All applicants (MSH and MNH) will be pooled and considered together in the recruitment process.
About the role
Temporary part time opportunity to deliver senior Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy services within the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Falls Co-Response Program.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Manage a workload to deliver senior Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy services, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation within an interprofessional team, adhering to clinical and departmental protocols, evidence-based practice and ethical standards.
- Actively contribute to service and caseload management and planning within the team and in partnership with the paramedic.
- Continually develop clinical practice knowledge, skills and expertise through self-directed learning, active learning and engaging in professional development activities, including participating in performance appraisal, audits, and development plans.
