About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide an effective and efficient function for the billing and collections of monies for Providers with Granted Private Practice. This position will be responsible for all functions within Private Practice Services.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide a high level of revenue service for the Private Practice Services in accordance with recognised policies/guidelines and interpret legislative frameworks including Granted Private Practice, Assignment and Retention arrangements, Financial Management Practice, Medicare Benefits Schedule plus associated legislative policy within the HHS and the ability to apply such knowledge to ensure compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of Queensland Health common office software programs, clinical information systems (e.g. HBCIS, MEDIRECORDS and OSIM) and finance related systems (e.g. S/4HANA, QHERS & ECLIPSE) in order to fully utilise these systems to improve resource management, identify chargeable patients and perform accounts receivable functions.
